Timberline: Picture Perfect Day
Hello there!! I am finally popping in today with something to post! I often go through spurts of posting. I really don't mean to go so long between posts, but sometimes I just don't get around to making some artwork. I wish I could hang out in my craft room all the time, but it just ain't possible. Darn it, anyway! ;)
My dear friend and fellow scrapbooker is having a birthday this week. I thought instead of running out and buying something, I would make her a fun layout to use. She is really ambitious and does two of the same layout for each of her boys' albums. So...I made two of this very boy layout for her. I have already given her the layouts, so now I can post it here without spoiling the surprise. ;)

March Hostess Club: Cards
Here is the first card for my March Hostess Club. I still have quite a bit of this older paper, Rough N' Tumble. One of my favorite boyish papers. I saw this card on fellow consultant, Allisa Chilton's blog and thought it was so cute! I had to come up with something similar. I am also using Baker's Twine on all of the cards this month...kind of like a product feature. Some of my customers have bought some, but I am trying to encourage most of them to buy it. I use it on a lot of projects.
All supplies are CTMH unless otherwise noted:
Paper: Rough N' Tumble Level 2 Paper Packet (retired)
Cardstock: Outdoor Denim, Indian Corn Blue, Cranberry, Colonial White, and Clover Meadow (retired)
Ink: Outdoor Denim and Cranberry

Card number two for them to make. I found this card for inspiration. The card is in the back, left of her photo. We will be meeting at a later date in May for the Hostess Club, so I thought I better squeeze this in so they have one made before Mother's Day. I really love the new Chantilly paper. I think it is my favorite in the Spring/Summer Idea book...although...every single paper in the new book is my favorite. How do you decide?

Christmas CRICUT Class

I am so excited to share with you a NEW workshop I will be holding next month. I recently had a sweet lady ask me about the Cricut machine. She saw one in action at a recent card making club and had to have one. I know....the Cricut is the most used tool I have in my craft room. I don't know what I would do without it! I guess I would still be cutting everything with scissors...YIKES!!
I cannot take full credit for these cute projects. I was browsing a blog that I often visit by fellow consultant Lisa Stenz. She is soooo talented!! I did not have the CTMH October Stamp of the Month, so I used other Christmas stamps to make it my own. The Santa bag I totally lifted. I hope she doesn't mind ;).
Here are the details for the workshop:

Back To School Teacher Gifts
I am so not ready for school to start! I want the summer to go on and on but, since that is not possible, I better just enjoy what is left. I think one of the reasons why I want to delay school is because my little girl is starting Kindergarten this year! It just can't be!!! She is growing up way too fast. She is really looking forward to school and cannot wait to make friends. So...it makes the transition a little bit easier. I should not forget to mention that my oldest is going into 4th grade!!! Now....he isn't as enthusiastic about the whole going back to school, but he needs his social time back and a little less time in front of his beloved Playstation! ;) Kids and their electronics! When I was a kid, going outside and riding bikes was all I could think about. How times have changed!
Anyways...on to the little gifts I made for both of my kids' teachers. I found these cute little gift boxes in the Walmart 88 cent bins. The notepads were there too. I grabbed a couple of lunch sacks in my stash and folded them up to make a pocket to hold the pencils and chocolate bar. I found some REALLY OLD paper when I first joined Close To My Heart and started to work on getting the pocket all decorated. Cute, huh?!
I happened to check the Heart 2 Heart blog today and they are having a Back To School challenge today. Perfect!! I hope the teachers enjoy the little gift. ;) Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Easter Pizza Box
Hello! Happy Easter! I spent a little bit of time in my scrapbook room yesterday and made this Pizza Box gift for my lovely neighbors. I bought these pizza boxes years ago and finally dug one out and made something. The box is 7x7 in size and I made some yummy Peanut Butter Bars to put inside. I am finding all kinds of delicious recipes on Pinterest. The bars remind me a little of those Reece's Peanut Butter Eggs. Mmmmm! I am also entering this box in the H2H Challenge. :)
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Easter weekend!

A Gift for the Hostess!
I make a gift set for my Hostess Club meetings. I really Love this set!! I used up some old paper. Yay for Me!! Do you remember Emporium? These papers are lovely and I still have a ton of it left. I am a big fan of tea. I love to have a cup in the afternoon and spend some time surfing all of those crafty blogs out there. I decided for this gift set to incorporate my love of tea. The folded booklet in this photo has a couple of tea bags tucked inside. A little Tea for Two, you might say. I didn't take a photo of the inside, but you can visit the Papertrey blog for instruction on this project. I bought some Glassine bags many moons ago and have yet to open the package up. I thought this would be a perfect way to package up some shortbread cookies to go along with the tea. The recipe is soooo good and who can resist a good cookie dipped in chocolate?! Thanks for stopping by!

12 Days of Christmas: Day 12
Hello! Welcome to my last post for my 12 Days of Christmas! I had such a wonderful time these past 12 days. I would like to thank Paige Dolecki, a fellow CTMH consultant, who gave me this wonderful idea. So, Thank You, Paige, if you are reading this! I am hoping to continue to post some more Christmas themed items before Christmas is upon us, but it probably won't be everyday. I will try my best. 12 Days of Christmas: Day 11
Welcome to Day 11 of my 12 Days of Christmas. This is a special gift I have been working on. I am going to make a few of these and maybe change the colors to make them each different. I made a homemade Chai Tea Mix to put in these jars. My family is doing a Christmas Exchange and I thought a homemade gift would be a sweet added addition to what I already purchased for my Sister-In-Law. I don't think she visits my blog...so my secret will be safe. ;)
Thanks you so much for stopping by. Be sure to stop by tomorrow also. I have a really special project to post for my last day.

So Grateful!
I am certainly grateful for many people in my life. I have a wonderful and caring family. I have the BEST husband and three beautiful children. I am certainly blest.I also have wonderful neighbors. We built our new home and moved in in less than a year and I feel like I have known our neighbors for years. They are so awesome. I felt that with the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, I would show them how much they mean to us with a little gift. The challenge on the H2H blog fit right in with this gift. I even made them today and gave them to them right when I was finished. Can't beat that!

Thank You Card Sets
Oops! I was suppose to post this yesterday. Time slipped away from me and I finally had a moment to get this posted.
The cards on the left are made from an old paper packet called Enchanted. I didn't post those cards on here eariler, but they turned out pretty cool. Especially with the Glitz Glitter. I think this is my new favorite accessory. If you don't have it yet, it is a must! :) Thanks for stopping by!

Heart 2 Heart Challenge: Favorite Color Combo
The challenge over at H2H is to choose your favorite color combo. My favorite color combo has been pink and brown for awhile. It is hard to choose your favorite with all of the awesome colors that Close To My Heart offers, but I do love a good pink and brown combo.
This particular patterned paper comes from an old pack called More To Adore. I love this paper!
I love visiting Aaron Brown's blog. She posts something new almost everyday. She is a very talented paper crafter. This project is inspired by her post here. It is a very simple and easy project. I plan on making a few more of these 4x4 cards and giving them as a gift to my son's teacher.

Back To School
I can't believe that school is starting tomorrow! Okay...where did our summer go? In Montana, our summers seem to start late and then winter is soooo long! I demand more summer!
My oldest is starting 3rd grade. I know that he is excited about seeing all of his good friends again, but I know that it is going to be a tough 6 months. His sweet Daddy will be deployed all winter and that means, I am going to be busy with my 3 kids. I need to find special time with my oldest to get him to read to me more. He is so stubborn when it comes to school work and reading. We'll get it done! ;)
I wanted to make his new teacher a little welcome back to school gift. I found these cute notepads at Walmart and had to make something to corrdinate with them. This is what I came up with. I stubbled on to Use it Tuesday blog and thought I would play along with their challenge. I used up some really old paper and used a Cricut cartridge I bought last year and only used maybe once.
All supplies are CTMH unless otherwise noted: Papers: School Zone Level 2 (retired); Cardstock: Moonstruck, Dutch Blue, Colonial White, White Daisy, Clover Meadow (retired), Black, Autumn Terracotta; Ink: Black, Moonstruck, and Cranberry; Stamps: C1418 In the Month of August (retired) and C1362 You're a Hoot; Accessories: Cranberry grosgrain ribbon; Tools: Give a Hoot Cricut Cartridge (Prove Craft), sandpaper, pop dots, sponge dauber.

Caboodle Collection

Good afternoon everyone! Just popping in with a quick post. I always try and make a gift for my hostess at my next meeting. I like to use the same papers and colors as the layout I have prepared. It just ties everything together. I used the retired Level 2 Caboodle papers. The colors in this pack remind me of Spring...so I had to make some spring-like flowers to make it even more feel like the season.
All supplies are CTMH unless otherwise noted: Papers: Caboodle Level 2 (retired); Cardstock: Colonial White, Crystal Blue, Sorbet, Buttercup, Sweetleaf, and Desert Sand; Ink: Desert Sand; Stamp sets: D1283 Say It in Style and C1257 Happy Birthday; Accessories: Pearl Opaques, Sorbet stitched ribbon, Round sparkles (Connections Club Reward), Polka Dot ribbon (unknown source); Tools: Circles made with Creative Memories cutters, Lace Border punch (Martha Stewart), Sweethearts Circut Cartridge (Provo Craft), Bandaid tin (Provo Craft), and sponge dauber.

I wanted my son's kindergarten teacher know how wonderful she is by making her a handmade gift. I am pretty sure she will appreciate something made by hand and not just something bought from a store. A Summer Drink...even though it's Snowing!
This little gift set is for my hostess tomorrow night! I hope see likes it. I got the idea for the container with the lemonade packets from a very talented fellow CTMH consultant. K. Brown. I love all of her work. The cards and water bottle, I put together myself.

Colors are: Sunny Yellow, Black, Olive, and White Daisy; Summer Sweetness Stamp set, Be Yourself Stamp set (May Stamp of the Month); Square sparkles; Olive polka dot paper from Boom-Di-Ada Level 2 paper pack; black ribbon; ivory waxy flax; liquid glass; prisma glitter; CD case (Walmart).

Holiday Gift for my son's Teacher
I used several different products. The only CTMH supplies are the apple leaf from the stamp set Friendship Blessings and the small apple stamped over the phrase is from September Word Puzzle. The Olive ribbon on the card is CTMH and the Cardstock is too.
