May 2013 Hostess Club Cards

Good Evening!  I finished making my May Hostess Club cards today.  Talk about productive!  Usually it takes me several days to ponder over what I would like to make.  I was surprised and pleased at how fast I whipped these babies out! ;)  One of my gals requested a graduation card.  There is a really simple stamp set in the New Ideabook, but I don't have this set.  So, I had to come up with a design that would work without it.  Check out the inside...

Isn't it a fun card?!  There is a slot cut on the inside for a gift card.  The stamp sets are old, but fit perfectly.  The grad cap was made using A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge.  I will also have my gals choose a color of their choice for the accent color.  I used Vineyard Berry here.

Well...I hope you all like these cards. :)  Thanks for stopping by.  See you next time!

May Hostess Club: Scrapbook Pages

Chantilly: Soak Up The Sun -Girl Layout

Chantilly: Soak Up The Sun -Boy Layout

Next month for my Hostess Clubs, I decided to do a Workshops On The Go layout.  Some of my members only have young boys in their families.  The Chantilly layout for the Workshops On The Go is very feminine.  I wanted to make sure everyone went home with the perfect layout.  So...this month they have the option of either a boy or girl layout.  Close To My Heart makes all of their paper packets so versatile.  On the back side of the very beautiful Chantilly paper is a fun blue/green patterned paper.  This makes it easy to just flip over the paper and make a totally different look for your layout.  How AWESOME is that?!  I hope my club members love these layouts as much as I do! :)  Thanks for stopping by.  See you next time.

All supplies are CTMH unless otherwise noted (product listed are for both layouts):

Looking for a Fun challenge?  Head over to the H2H Challenge blog.  The theme this week is Raindrops Keep Falling...I love it!  I started out this card on the vertical, but it just wasn't working.  Once I turned it 180 degrees, it just looked so much better and the sentiment wasn't so lost in the mix.  I used OLD paper and stamps.  So great to use up my stash little by little. :)  I am also entering this card in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge.  Thanks for stopping by.  See you next time!

Masculine Birthday Wishes Card

Hello there!  Posting a quick pic of my latest creation.  Sorry about the unprofessional and crooked picture.  I took several pictures of this card and they were all crooked.  I was too lazy to go back and take some more. ;)  I needed a manly card for the principal at my kids' school and found this card here by fellow CTMH Consulant, Shannon Buck.  I think I might have to make several of these in different corrdinating papers....I LOVE it!!  I hope you do too.  Thanks for stopping by.  See you next time.
