Last Day for January Stamp of the Month!

Hi there!  January is coming to a close and Fabulous February is on its way in.  Which means the NEW Close To My Heart Ideabook goes Live tomorrow!  You will be so impressed by all of the new products and papers....I LOVE THEM ALL!  Before we close the book on the last Ideabook, I wanted to show you the beautiful Stamp of the Month.  I wasn't too sure about it at first, but I decided to order it and I LOVE it!  I have been wanting to experiment with the new Alcohol Markers and this stamp set is the perfect set to practice with.  I started with the lighter marker to color in the images and then finished off by shading with the darker marker.  So much fun!  The markers are so rich and easy to color with.  I highly recommend you buy some, if you haven't already. :)

This is the last day you can buy this beautiful stamp set.  Head over to my Shop With Me link to get yours today.  You can buy it for only $5.00 with a $50.00 purchase or for $17.95 directly.  Happy stamping!  Thanks for stopping by.  See you next time. :)

H2H Challenge: All that Glitters

I started working on this card yesterday and finally finished it up this morning.  Now, I better go clean some floors and do some laundry. ;)  Oh...sitting here and crafting all day sounds so much better, but then reality sets in. LOL!  I headed over to the H2H blog to see what the challenge was this week.  All that Glitters!  Yep...I had to do this one.  I LOVE sparkly stuff, what girl doesn't?!  I have not used my CTMH How-To books lately, so I thought I would pull a sketch from there.  I chose the  Keep it Level on page 107 of the Wishes Card Confidence Program ™ .  Did you notice the NEW paper?!  This beautiful B&T paper is from the For Always Paper Packet.  It reminds me a little of the Silhouette Paper we had way back when.  Black and White with a pop of color. :)  Well...I better sign off for now and head upstairs and do that laundry. ;(  Thanks for stopping by!  See you next time.

Heart 2 Heart Challenge: Fancy Folds

When I was editing my photo in photoshop, the smaller picture just looked pixelated.  I thought if I made it look a little bigger, the details would show up better.  I think I might have to go to the larger picture on all of my future posts.  The card is so much easier to see. :)

The challenge on the H2H blog this past week is Fancy Fold Techniques.  I don't tend to make too many fancy folded cards, so this was a fun one for me.  I made a simple card by using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  How cool is it to have a button to push and it makes the fancy cuts and folds for you!?  I had pinned this card seen here by Tresa Black.  She used the Christmas stamp for hers, so I thought I should use the Valentine stamp for mine...being the season and all. ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

Simple Happy Birthday

I cannot believe how fast I made this card.  With the help of my Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, these little 1" inch squares were cut out in seconds.  I stamped the zig-zag images in several different colors onto one piece of cardstock and then loaded it into my Cricut machine and Viola!  I have a quick and easy card to put together!  Okay...it was easy because I had some inspiration from this card seen here.  Easy cards can come together when you have something to base them from. :)

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog...and please, leave a comment to let me know what you think.  See you next time!

Thank You So Much!

I am back!  I sat down in my craft room today...got online...visited my usual blogs, pinterest, facebook...I spend way too much time looking at artwork and not doing my own!  There are just so many great websites and blogs to visit to get inspired.  Finally, I went to one of my favorites, Wizard's Hangout.  Vicki Wizniuk, is a fellow CTMH consultant.  She is so super talented!  She makes 3x3 thank you cards for her customers.  I thought that I should try and start to do the same thing.  I have an order coming in this afternoon and I thought I would whip up some of these cute 3x3 cards, just like Vicki.  I was inspired by the many butterfly cards she does and came up with this sweet one.  The retired Wings paper fit perfectly with this theme.  I cut out several circles with my Cricut machine and folded two opposite sides to create the scallop look seen below.

This is a really easy technique that has a lot of WOW!  I hope that you enjoy these and I will try and create more and stop gawking so much! LOL!  Thanks for stopping by.  See you next time! :)

Mojo Monday: 276

I needed a little bit of Mojo today.  I have not done a Mojo Monday sketch for quite some time, so I thought I would play along today.  I have been busy putting together hostess club projects this month, so doing anything extra has not been too easy.  This sketch is number 276 and can be seen here.  I also dug into some newer paper.  Right around the corner is the New Spring/Summer CTMH Ideabook...I know...ALREADY!!  I am super excited about the new papers and products coming out.  I just ordered some new stuff and it will hopefully be here by the end of the week.  Thanks for stopping by!

Valentine Fun!

I have been hard at work putting together some items to give to the hostesses of my clubs.  I think I got a little carried away with these, but I just love Valentine's Day.  Right now, Close To My Heart is celebrating National Stamping Month with a CUTE kit called Whooo's Your Valentine.

Aren't these just the sweetest little treat holders?  Perfect to give out to teachers or small groups of children.  The kit has enough to make 12 of these cute holders.  All you need to do is place a qualifying order of $35 and you can buy it for $10.  What a deal!!  Please visit my website to order yours today!!

I used the stamp set that comes in the kit to add some fun to the hostess gifts above.  I have been hoarding the little mailboxes that I purchased forever ago at Target.  They might be selling them again for Valentine's Day.

Thanks for stopping by!  See you next time.

January Hostess Club #1: Scrapbook Layout

Happy New Year to you!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.  We have been so busy right up until Christmas and had a big gathering here at our home for New Year's Eve.  Busy and fun times!  Now that all of the holidays are behind us...I can focus on my Hostess Clubs for this month.  I was a little nervous about making this page.  I have never scrapbooked a page just about myself.  This is a little out of my comfort zone.  I focus all of my pages on our family and just the kids....so this is very different for me.  I hope that the club members will go for it too! :)

Here is a close up shot of the hidden journaling tag.  Thanks for stopping by!
