Caboodle Collection

Good afternoon everyone! Just popping in with a quick post. I always try and make a gift for my hostess at my next meeting. I like to use the same papers and colors as the layout I have prepared. It just ties everything together. I used the retired Level 2 Caboodle papers. The colors in this pack remind me of Spring...so I had to make some spring-like flowers to make it even more feel like the season.

All supplies are CTMH unless otherwise noted: Papers: Caboodle Level 2 (retired); Cardstock: Colonial White, Crystal Blue, Sorbet, Buttercup, Sweetleaf, and Desert Sand; Ink: Desert Sand; Stamp sets: D1283 Say It in Style and C1257 Happy Birthday; Accessories: Pearl Opaques, Sorbet stitched ribbon, Round sparkles (Connections Club Reward), Polka Dot ribbon (unknown source); Tools: Circles made with Creative Memories cutters, Lace Border punch (Martha Stewart), Sweethearts Circut Cartridge (Provo Craft), Bandaid tin (Provo Craft), and sponge dauber.

Love Deeply

Today I combined two different challenges. A sketch and an inspiration photo/color challenge. The sketch comes from Card Patterns: Sketch 110 and the photo/color challenge comes from Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World. I just discovered Moxie today and knew exactly what papers I was going to use. Talk about using up OLD Close To My Heart paper! This card is simple yet the colors pop and make it look super fun. I had a great time putting this one together.

All supplies are CTMH unless otherwised noted: Paper: Let's Get Together Level 2 (retired); Cardstock: Colonial White, Cranberry, Breeze (retired); Stamp set: D1238 from Tickled Pink Constant Campaign (Retired); Ink: Garden Green, Desert Sand; Accessories: Bitty sparkles, Cranberry velvet ribbon, popdots; Tools: Scallop punch (Fiskers), Scallop Circle (Spellbinders), Cuttlebug, and sandpaper.

Mojo Monday 185 Sketch: Happy Easter

I waited for the last day of this Mojo sketch to post. I guess I was prefecting it all week. I don't know if it is obvious or not, but those are Easter eggs as my focal point. I have very few Easter stamp sets and I wanted to make a card for the up coming holiday. I think it turned out pretty.

All supplies are CTMH unless otherwise noted: Paper: Paper Garden Level 2 (retired) and Unforgettable B&T paper (pink scalloped paper); Cardstock: Colonial White and Chocolate; Ink: Chocolate, Buttercup, Petal, and Blush; Stamp sets: D1340 Easter Eggs and D1283 Say It in Style; Accessories: Pink sparkles, Brown Ribbon (Offray), Scallop punch (Martha Stewart).

Cherry-O my Friend!

I guess I really think this sketch is a lot of fun to create with, because I had to make another card with it! It is snowing like crazy right now in Montana, and this card gives me a feeling of a little sunshine even with all of this White beauty. I admit, I love the snow, but I prefer it in the winter time. It's Spring...I am so ready for warmer weather. I got some inspiration for this card from a talented lady, Mona Pendleton. Check out her blog and card at Cupcake's Creations. The paper accordian flower is really easy to make. Lisa Stenz has a great video on how to make these. All supplies are CTMH unless otherwise noted: Paper: Cherry-O Level 2; Cardstock: Colonial White, Kraft; Stamps: B1348 Bowl of Cherries; Ink: Chocolate, Tulip, Blush, Sweetleaf; Accessories: Tulip brads, z1145 Heartfelt (leaves are inked with Sweetleaf to make them match), white thread (unknown source), popdots.
