Be Inspired Challenge

Ah oh...I think I might be addicted to sketch challenges! :) They are actually a good thing because they make you sit down and put something together rather than admire other people's artwork. I think I spend too much time looking at other blogs instead of doing my own crafts.

Almost Everything is CTMH:
CS: Desert Sand, Ocean, Vineyard Berry
Stamps: New Fallen Snow and Christmas Scripts
Ribbon: Offray
Label is made from a diecut (Retired CTMH)
Fake brads are made with a 1/4" punch and Liquid Glass on top.
B&T paper: Just Chillin'
This challenge was again on Beate's Blog

Sketch Challenge

I love seeing all of the sketch challenges out there on blogs and different websites. I finally took some time and tried this one. This particular sketch is from Beate's website at : http://beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2008/10/17/simple-urban-thanks/

I used CTMH products:

Chocolate, Colonial White, Sweet Leaf Cardstock

Life's Delights B&T paper

Blush ribbon and a large pink brad (Unknown source).

Christmas is in the Air

A couple of cards that we put together at my Hostess Club meeting this October. The card on the right was "lifted" from Nona Davenport (fellow CTMH consultant).

The card on the left is made with the stamp sets Snow Friends, Ho Ho Ho (Retired) and Solo "B". Papers are from the Aspen Reflections Paper pack. Colors are Outdoor Denim, Twilight, and Creme Brulee. The card on the right is made with the stamp sets Peace on Earth and Flurries (Retired). I used the Snowflake cuttlebug folder to make the background.

This was our Christmas layout for our club meeting.

Everything is CTMH. Colors are Cranberry, Ponderosa Pine, Desert Sand and Bamboo. Stamps used: Evergreen, Friendship Alpha (lowercase). Dementional Element "C". The scallop edging was made with Fiskers Threading Water punch.
