Be Mine, Valentine!

Be Mine, Valentine!

I love making Valentine cards. Now that the holidays are behind us, things are a little quieter and I have had some extra time to devote to my paper crafting. This particular card design is from a sketch challenge, Mojo Monday 172 from last week. It was super easy and fun putting this one together.

All supplies are CTMH unless otherwise noted: D1445 Amore (December Stamp of the Month); Black Cardstock; Crystal Blue B&T paper from Notebook Level 2; Heart and Polka Dot paper from BoBunny Press (from my old stash); Black brads; Stampin' Up border punch.

Wings

My Hostess Club is meeting tomorrow and I always like to whip up a few cards as a gift for the hostess. Two of the cards I scraplifted. The Dress Form card was inspired by AaronB and and the middle card was inspired by Debbie Carriere. The CTMH Wings paper is gorgeous and the Stamp of the Month, D1452 Find Your Style is a lot more versitle than what I anticipated. A must have set with a vintage charm.
All supplies are CTMH unless otherwised noted:
Wings Level 2 B&T paper; D1452 Find Your Style stamp set; B1376 Wings stamp set; Vineyard Berry CS, Black CS, Juniper CS, Colonial White CS; Opaque pearl;, Stitched black ribbon; black waxy flax; Pretty pins (modified); Colonial white button; Butterfly (Cricut Cartridge, Give a Hoot); Spellbinders scallop and circle die

What??!!! Two days in a row?

I know...this is CRAZY! Where did I find the time? Hee Hee! Okay, I admit...I do a little bit of scrapbooking and card making, I just don't post them. I guess going through the process of taking a picture (which I think I might need to get some tips on how to take a quality picture of my artwork) and posting it probably keeps me away from the blogging world. But, I think if I actually did take the time I will get really addicted and might neglect the other things going on in my world. Nah...laundry and making meals can wait, right?

Anyway, on to the good stuff. Here is the simple layout I put together for my hostess club coming up at the end of the month. It isn't new paper from the Autunm/Winter Ideabook, but the theme of Back to School just seemed appropriate for this month.

(All supplies are CTMH unless otherwise noted) Colors: Indian Corn Blue, Black, Cranberry, Pear, Honey, Colonial White, Bamboo, Chocolate; B&T paper: Zippidee; Stamp sets: B1351 You're Sweet, Triple Play stamp set (only available this month), D1201 Frame of Mind, D1303 Classmate Alphabet; Buttons: Cranberry and Sweetleaf; Red Sparkels; Mini Closepin: unknown source; Letters: Makin' the Grade, Cricut.

Fall Back into Blogging??

Okay! I am back. For how long...not really sure. It might be another 9 months before a post again! Life with 3 kids and moving just don't make it easy to keep up with my blog.
I made a set of cards for a lucky gal in my hostess club. I hope she will get some good use out of them. I love Fall and all the colors it entails. Fall and thank you cards just seem to go together perfectly.
(All supplies are CTMH unless otherwise noted) Colors: Goldrush, Barn Red, Cocoa, New England Ivy, Colonial White; B&T: Harvest (Retired); Stamp Set: Many Thanks (D1371) and Thank You (D1361); Brads: Oriental Trading Co.
