Hi there! I am back for another round of H2H Challenges! This week on the H2H blog, the theme is to make some art using the colors Crystal Blue and Amethyst. The paper pack Wonderland in the Autumn/Winter 2011 Idea Book does use these colors together. I thought...that would be easy, just use that paper. But....then I was thinking that would be too obvious. I must use up OLD paper, right!? I dug through my massive stash and came across the Notebook paper pack using Cyrstal Blue. Voila! This will work! I know the card is simple, but for some reason it took me FOREVER to finish this card. Go figure! The challenge was to use some sparkle or bling, if you so choose. I squeezed a little Glitz on the flowers and done!
Hope you like! See you next time. :)
All supplies are CTMH unless otherwise noted: Paper: Notebook Level 2 (retired); Cardstock: White Daisy, Crystal Blue, and Amethyst; Ink: Desert Sand, Crystal Blue, and Black; Stamp sets: E1025 Rock the Block Stamp set (available this month only) and C1429 Party Pendents (sentiment); Accessories: Z1732 Color-Ready Seam Binding Ribbon (available in Spring/ Summer 2012 Idea Book) and Z1482 Glitz Silver Glitter Gel; Tools: AP Cricut Cartridge, sand paper, and sponge dauber.
Your card is really pretty! Great idea to use up some old stash; you'd never guess any of the card was "old." Thanks for taking the H2H color challenge!
